Feature Artists - Andrew O'Brien

One of Australia's leading contemporay artists, widely collected both privately and publically. Andrew is known for his abstract works, which are strongly coloured and rich in texture. His body of work is ephemeral, beautiful and driven from the landscape.

Andrew has completed work for the Danish Royal Family, and appeared in Belle Magazine, Real Living and has been featured on Channel Nines 'The Block' over two seasons.

Feature Artists - Leisa O'Brien

I paint mainly with acrylics, sometimes oils and watercolours. When I was 5 years old, I told everyone I knew that I was going to be an artist. I think that makes things so easy - but difficult at the same time. I didn't spend years wrestling with the worry of "What am I going to do with my life?' but at the same time the thought of doing what you know you were born to do and NOT being successful at it (in whatever way you perceive success to be - personally satisfied with your art, financially independant etc.) is terrifying because I sometimes feel a fear that if I suck at this - my one and only dream, I'll be shattered and lost, for I never had a back-up. Luckily I believe fear is there as a help - and to be overcome !!! So all in all I spend my days knowing how blessed I am
